The logistics company Avitrans Urgente S.L. has integrated its platforms into the intelligent fleet management system provided by Altech. With this addition, a total of 300 vehicles (tractors and platforms) are now geolocated through the system.

Since late 2019, Altech has been implementing its smart solution for vehicle tracking and monitoring within Avitrans Urgente’s fleet. This system allows Avitrans to have better control over its fleet operations and perform remote downloads of tachograph data.

After a year of operating with the new system, the results have been highly satisfactory. The number of integrated tractor units has steadily increased since its launch, and with this latest expansion, Avitrans has also incorporated its own platforms. The aim is to increase safety for both vehicles and drivers, and to optimize resource usage.

One of the biggest concerns for logistics companies in Spain is tachograph management, due to strict regulations and heavy penalties for non-compliance. The solution implemented by Altech enables convenient and automatic downloading of data from both the driver and the vehicle.

With this tool, companies can configure alerts and notifications to assist with maintenance tasks and detect rule violations in real time—such as missing driver identification or excessive driving hours.
